As a result of the escalating threat posed by the Coronavirus and with a concern for the well-being of our radio team, families, donors and Rotary volunteers, we have at this time elected to postpone “Kevin’s Longest Morning” in support of Rotary4Kids.
This popular event had been scheduled to run March 26th and 27th from Canadian Tire on McKeown Avenue and feature Kevin Oschefski of radio station KISS 100.5, who spends 29 hours in succession promoting Rotary and raising money for Rotary4Kids. A reschedule date has not yet been determined..
But our need for funding continues and although we will be off the air in March, we hope many will recognize the work the Rotary Club of North Bay does through on-line support.
Donations received help local and area families of children with special needs in times of crisis, to assist with buying rehabilitative devices, sponsoring kids for therapeutic camps and working with professionals who identify individual needs for families with no where else to turn. We are also a proud supporter of the Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth, assisting them with funding their summer camp program and other programming as required and we support local schools to meet special needs children’s programming.
